This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our GPS-enabled child tracker device, LTE services, and cloud hosting platform (collectively, the “Service”).

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and account login details when you create an account.
• Device Information: Device ID, SIM card details, and usage statistics.
• Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates of the Spot Tot device to allow parents/guardians to track their child.
• Authorized User Information: Contact details (such as email or phone number) provided by a parent/guardian to invite another authorized user.
• Communications: Customer support interactions, messages, and inquiries.
• Technical Information: IP address, operating system, and network connection details for service functionality and troubleshooting.
• Security Verification Information: Phone numbers or email addresses provided for two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS or email, used solely to help secure your account.

2. How We Use Information
   We use your information to:

• Provide GPS tracking, LTE connectivity, and cloud-hosted services.
• Enable parent/guardian account holders to invite and manage authorized users.
• Ensure secure access to your account and maintain service integrity.
• Provide optional two-factor authentication (2FA) using SMS or email codes to protect your account.
• Send important notifications such as service updates, safety alerts, and customer support responses.
• Improve device performance and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations.
  We do not sell personal information to third parties.

3. Account Ownership and Authorized Users

• Primary Account Owner: The parent/guardian who creates the Spot Tot account is the owner of the account and retains full administrative rights.
• Authorized User Invitations: The primary account owner may authorize additional users (e.g., caregivers, relatives) by sending a secure invitation via email or SMS. These invitations grant limited access, such as viewing the child’s device location, depending on the permissions selected by the parent/guardian.
• Admin Access: The primary account owner may choose to grant administrative access to an authorized user. This must be purposefully selected and can only be set by the account owner.
• Revocation of Access: The primary account owner can revoke an authorized user’s access, including admin privileges, at any time. Once revoked, the authorized user will no longer have access to the information.
• Responsibility: The primary account owner is responsible for managing authorized user invitations, permissions, and revocations.

4. Data Storage and Security

• All personal and location data are encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Information is stored on secure cloud servers with strict access controls.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes sent via SMS or email are used only for verification and are not stored beyond what is necessary to deliver and validate the authentication attempt.
• We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

5. Children’s Privacy
   Spot Tot is designed for use by parents/guardians for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent. Parents control all data related to the child’s device.

6. Your Choices and Rights
   Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your information.
• Restrict or object to certain data processing.
• Request a copy of your information in a portable format.
